Diema - Loyalty

This is just some testing with Gimp and my graphics tablet, during my testing time in univerity to calm my nerves. I just wanted to draw some random character, until I began to draw one of the characters from the story I am writing for 4 years now.
Diema is adoptive mother of 5 children and has one son of her and her longtime love. She is also the maid of the queen of my story and her daughters and waiting for years and years for them to return to their throne to rule the country and to bring peace.
She is blind, because of a curse, but she only wanted to protect somebody.
All in all she is one of the most loyal characters of my story.
I try to draw more of my characters in the future.
